This workshop consists of two parts:
PART 1:
INTRO TO RED HAT LINUX FOR WINDOWS, MAC OS AND LINUX NEWBIES:
Red Hat Linux is introduced to a broader audience, including Windows and Mac OS users as well as Linux newbies. Attendants will have a chance to see some intimate details of how the three OSs interact with one another and how they can be used in the chemistry network environment.
PART 2:
AB INITIO COMPUTING WITH GAUSSIAN IN LINUX ENVIRONMENT
In this part of the workshop, attendants will have a chance to learn how to set up and run their ab initio calculations using Gaussian products.
