Letter from the Editor
Welcome to the third issue of the Chemistry Computer Center's quarterly newsletter. In this issue, you will find information regarding the computer classroom. This includes information for scheduling a class for the upcoming fall semester, requesting software to be installed, and using the Computer Classroom.

Computer Classroom Policies
- The Computer Classroom is used for teaching purposes only.
- The classroom is available during class times only; it is not a computer lab.
Scheduling Procedure
- To schedule a class in the 1381 classroom, please contact Dave Suminski, suminski at chem.wisc.edu, in the Business Office. Scheduling is done on a first-come, first-served basis.
- At least five weeks before the beginning of the new semester, email Comphelp, comphelp at chem.wisc.edu, or Steve Barnet, barnet at chem.wisc.edu, to get the software you need installed.
- At least three days in advance, instructors need to email a spreadsheet with the students' names to classrosters at chem.wisc.edu.
Network and Computer Help
Assistance with email, computing, networking, or other related technical difficulties can be requested as follows:
- Checking out our FAQ's page
- Emailing comphelp at chem.wisc.edu.
- Calling the computer center at 262-0536.
- Stopping by room 9311 in person.
