Remote Access

You do not need to be in 9311 to run jobs, especially if you are running non-GUI-based programs. Remote users may access the research clusters only via Secure Shell Protocol (SSH).
Non-GUI Access:
Make sure you have ssh capabilities: One of the following programs can be used:
- Linux- install when you install OS
- Mac - Nifty Telnet: DoIT link
- Windows - Putty: Download
- Windows - Secure CRT: DoIT link
GUI-Access
To use programs that require the GUI, download and install x-server software (Windows):
