Cluster Accounts
New Accounts
To set up an account for the Research Clusters, please stop by the Chemistry Computer Center or contact Hieu Tran (tran at chem.wisc.edu) with the following information:
- Your Full Name
- Your Research Advisor's name and/or affiliation
- Whether or not you have a Chemistry Department (@chem.wisc.edu) email account
One of us will contact you with the information for your account and will give you a few pointers for use.
Closing Accounts
If you are leaving the Department, please contact Hieu Tran (tran at chem.wisc.edu) before you leave to ensure uninterrupted access. Please provide the following information:
- Full name of the person leaving
- Account (user's) name
- Research Advisor's name and/or affiliation
- When the account needs to be closed
If the account "lease" needs to be extended, please state:
- When the person is leaving
- Which facilities access for which access will remain necessary
- Any pertinent contact information at their new location
- How long the extension will need to last
